About GreenHarvest

"Advancing Regenerative Agriculture for a Sustainable Future (GreenHarvest)" is implemented within the Erasmus+ Programme under the Small-scale Partnerships in Adult Education (KA210-ADU) action. The project runs for 22 months, from September 2025 to June 2027, and aims to promote sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices through education, innovation and international cooperation.

GreenHarvest is coordinated by the Mersin Directorate of Provincial Agriculture and Forestry (Türkiye) and implemented in cooperation with a diverse consortium of European partners: prEUnec GmbH (Germany), TRIEBWERK – Regenerative Land and Agroforestry UG (Germany), Associação Youth for the Future (Portugal) and Asociația Székely Gazdaszervezetek Egyesület (Romania). Together, these organisations bring together expertise in agriculture, adult education, sustainability and community development.

Why the project exists

Agriculture is under pressure from climate change, soil degradation, water scarcity and biodiversity loss. Production costs are rising and seasons are less predictable. The people who feel this first are farmers, and the knowledge that would help them is often either too theoretical or simply out of reach.

GreenHarvest treats regenerative agriculture not only as a farming method but as a way of keeping farms and rural communities viable: restoring soil health, using water efficiently, supporting biodiversity, reducing emissions and strengthening the economic resilience of producers.

What the project produces

• The GreenHarvest Educational Toolkit, built around four training modules
• Four training videos on regenerative practice
• A multilingual digital learning platform
• A Training of Trainers programme, followed by local pilot trainings
• An Innovative Agricultural Practices Report
• Multiplier events, newsletters and an online conference

The needs assessment carried out at the start of the project was unambiguous: participants want field demonstrations, applied sessions, local examples, short videos and easy-to-understand guides. Every output is designed against that preference for practical learning.
